CodeLaunch competitions are unique events where you can showcase your startup’s potential, receive invaluable feedback, refine your business model, and tap into a network of seasoned investors and industry experts. Our hackathon format pairs professional development teams with startups to accelerate digital products during a two-day hackathon, turning product vision into product function, or accelerating existing product timelines, at no cost.
Winning finalists not only gain financial rewards and the recognition that comes with being a CodeLaunch champion, but they also get to compete on our World Championship stage for $50K in investment capital deployed by the CodeLaunch & Improving Fuel Fund. This exposure can be a catalyst for future investment and growth, making CodeLaunch an essential event for any ambitious tech startup founder in 2025.

CodeLaunch Canada: June 25th
On June 25th, Toronto will once again host CodeLaunch Canada at the iconic El Mocambo. This event will see six startups and their hackathon partners compete, with one emerging as the champion to represent Canada at the World Championship. Just like we saw with last year’s CodeLaunch Canada and World Championship winner, Materia, this competition has the power to transform your entire business.
- Deadline to apply: April 13th
- The CodeLaunch Canada PCL Hackathon Team winner will receive $5K USD prize money.
- The winning startup founder receives an invite to compete for $50K at the World Championship Nov 9th – 12th in DFW, Texas.
- Entrants must have a Canadian citizen as founder or co-founder.

CodeLaunch U.S. - 4 Finalists Advance Straight to the World Championship stage
While several details for CodeLaunch U.S. are still under wraps, we can confirm that four finalists will be drafted by PCL Hackathon teams at the end of the only U.S. founder cohort of 2025. Their hackathons will occur prior to the World Championship event in DFW November 9th through 12th. That’s right, these four startups will go head-to-head against already proven winners from Canada and Mexico.
- Deadline to apply: July 6th
- Open to tech startup ventures domiciled in the U.S. with at least one U.S. citizen who is a founder or co-founder.
- Finalists Revealed: August 13th
Once we reveal our four US finalists, they will have a couple of months to prep for their hackathons and the World Championship experience. In the meantime, we’ll have business to do in Mexico!
CodeLaunch Mexico: October 8th
CodeLaunch Mexico returns to the prestigious Tecnológico de Monterrey (TDM) – Guadalajara Campus on October 8th for the third consecutive year. Six hackathon teams will draft six finalist startups. The event champion chosen by the audience will advance to the World Championship and finalize our 6 startups competing for $50K in DFW. Our presence in Mexico for a third year is a testament to the growing startup culture in Mexico and the opportunities it presents for investors and founders alike. Will we beat last year’s all-time record attendance of 862 Mexican innovation fans?

World Championship: November 9th through 12th
The pinnacle of the CodeLaunch 2025 schedule is the World Championship, which will take place from November 9th through 12th in the Dallas-Fort Worth area at Gilleys Dallas. We will deploy $50K in CodeLaunch & Improving Fuel Fund Investments, providing a significant boost to the winning startups. The World Championship will once again feature the Investors’ Champion, the Judges’ Choice and the Audience combining to allocate $50K and the World Champion’s PCL Hackathon Team, each receiving up to $10K in prize money. This is a prime opportunity for investors to discover and support the next big thing in tech innovation. Important Applicant Information
Applications for all three events will be accepted starting February 16th at CodeLaunch.com. CodeLaunch is a unique, no-cost opportunity for startup founders. All founders need is a pitch deck, code-ready mockups, and a bucket of passion.
Code-ready mockups are essential to maximize the benefits of the 2-day PCL hackathon for finalists. These mockups should represent what founders hope to build if they are “drafted.” This requirement sets CodeLaunch apart from other competitions. Each finalist is paired with a professional development team that turbocharges product development and accelerates digital product progress. During the pitch competition and showcase event, each startup product is demonstrated live for an audience of judges, investors, and supporters, who then vote interactively to determine the winners. Join the Professional Coder League
Join the CodeLaunch Professional Coder League (PCL) and elevate your business while making a meaningful impact. CodeLaunch is opening its events to third-party dev shops, venture studios, freelance, and corporate brand dev teams. The entry fee is $500, and the prize money is $5,000 for the team whose startup wins the event. If a Canadian or Mexican Startup goes on to win the World Championship, the hackathon team will win an additional $5,000, totaling $10,000. If one of our U.S. cohort teams wins, their PCL team wins $10,000.
The PCL is an innovative initiative by CodeLaunch that immerses software development teams in startup innovation. By joining, teams work directly with emerging startups, applying their skills to create real-world solutions. Each team should have 3-4 developers, with one acting as the client/startup product design lead. One team member must attend the CodeLaunch World Championship in DFW, wearing the CodeLaunch Jersey. Travel costs are the sponsor’s responsibility, and the entry fee includes a custom 2025 PCL Jersey for each team member, featuring your team’s name and logo.

The We Code, You Launch Podcast
In 2025, we will continue to put out dynamic live podcasts on Discord, where anyone can join the audience and ask questions interactively.
