CodeLaunch Canada 2026 Championship: Meet the Six Finalists

Six Canadian startups are one step closer to the CodeLaunch World Championship.

Following a competitive application, evaluation, and pitch process, GoAway Travels, Menchi, ImpulsTrip, Moovmynt, Treegress, and aêtava have been selected to compete at the CodeLaunch Canada 2026 Championship on September 16 at the El Mocambo in Toronto.

Each finalist will now be paired with an Improving Professional Coder League team for an intensive development sprint ahead of the live competition.

CodeLaunch is more than a traditional pitch competition. The live Venturetainment experience combines startup competition, entertainment, and real product execution without taking cash or equity from participating founders.

Meet the six ventures representing this year’s CodeLaunch Canada finalist class.

GOAWAY TRAVELS

Founder: Ariel Vazquez
Website: https://www.goawaytravels.com/

WHAT THEY DO

GoAway Travels transforms social media travel inspiration into bookable trips through its AI travel assistant, Koji. The platform also connects bookings back to the creators who inspired them, helping travel brands better understand the return generated by creator-driven content.

WHY IT MATTERS

Travel inspiration often begins on social media, but the journey from discovering a destination to booking a trip remains disconnected. GoAway Travels is working to close that gap while creating new opportunities for creators, travelers, and travel brands.

ABOUT THE VENTURE

“GoAway transforms social media travel inspiration into bookable trips through our AI travel assistant, Koji. Unlike traditional travel apps, we’re the first platform to attribute bookings back to the creators who inspired them, giving travel brands ROI data they can’t get anywhere else. We’re an investable opportunity with a live product, paying customers, early revenue, a growing waitlist of 130+, and experienced advisors who have built successful travel and analytics companies. In addition to consumer demand, we’ve received inbound interest from businesses looking to white-label our platform, demonstrating multiple paths to scale.”

THEIR CODELAUNCH EXPERIENCE

“The CodeLaunch cohort experience has been genuinely amazing. From the start, there has been a high level of energy and support. The process has been detailed very clearly, with reasonable timelines that have allowed us to be thoughtful about our responses, direction, and decisions. The opportunity to pitch and the community they’ve built, along with the social media exposure gives the whole process a level of prestige that most accelerators don’t have. Beyond that, it’s given us a real opportunity to accelerate our roadmap faster than we could on our own.”

MENCHI

Founder: Alejandro Zuluaga
Website: https://menchi.co/

WHAT THEY DO

Menchi helps premium clinics answer incoming calls, book consultations, and keep customer data in Canada.

WHY IT MATTERS

When calls go unanswered, clinics risk losing potential clients and revenue. Menchi is designed to make sure every inquiry receives a response while helping clinics convert more calls into booked consultations.

ABOUT THE VENTURE

“Premium clinics lose up to 15k clients every time nobody answers the phone. 62% of those calls go to voicemail. 80% never call back. Menchi answers every one, books the consult, and keeps the data in Canada. Live today, 93% gross margins, break-even at five clinics.”

THEIR CODELAUNCH EXPERIENCE

“CodeLaunch made me prove it. Every round asked a harder question than the last. I came in with an idea and left each one with evidence, and a product that now answers a real phone line.”

IMPULSTRIP

Founder: Aasees Sethi
Website: https://www.impulstrip.com/

WHAT THEY DO

ImpulsTrip is building a platform focused on spontaneous, real-world connection within local communities.

WHY IT MATTERS

Rather than measuring success through broad reach alone, ImpulsTrip focuses on building enough activity within a specific area to turn digital discovery into real-world experiences and meaningful connections.

ABOUT THE VENTURE

“Everyone who tried spontaneity went broad, and broad killed them. You don’t need a million users – you need 40 of the right ones within 2km at 7pm on a random Tuesday. We’ve spent $300 total to get 279 people, and every one of those numbers is a real person who left the house.”

THEIR CODELAUNCH EXPERIENCE

“CodeLaunch made us prove things we’d been asserting. We came into this cohort proud of our signup number and left understanding that signups were never the constraint, density was. That single reframe rewrote our roadmap, and it came out of a pitch meeting, not a boardroom.”

MOOVMYNT

Founder: Sundeep Sund
Website: https://www.moovmynt.com/

WHAT THEY DO

Moovmynt is building governed housing intelligence for the presale and new-construction market.

WHY IT MATTERS

Housing and project information can be fragmented, outdated, or difficult to verify. Moovmynt creates historically traceable records that preserve sources, dates, verification status, and changes over time.

ABOUT THE VENTURE

“Moovmynt is building governed housing intelligence for presale and new construction. The platform turns fragmented project information and source evidence into historically traceable Records that show the source, relevant dates, verification state, change history and anything that remains unconfirmed. The platform is live with more than 1,250 projects on record across British Columbia. We are pre-revenue, with proposed revenue paths through professional subscriptions, developer and project-marketing intelligence, governed reports, and later institutional data and risk intelligence. Every confirmed update adds evidence and history that becomes harder to reconstruct over time. Presale is the initial wedge. The larger opportunity is a governed intelligence foundation for housing decisions.”

THEIR CODELAUNCH EXPERIENCE

“CodeLaunch forced us to turn a large housing-intelligence vision into one clear, buildable outcome. We separated what already operates from what still needs to be built, defined the governance boundary, and created a workflow a team can begin on day one and demonstrate against a real result. The process made our pitch clearer, our build more defensible, and our company more ready to execute.”

TREEGRESS

Founder: Anna Karnaukh
Website: https://treegress.com/

WHAT THEY DO

Treegress is developing software-testing infrastructure designed to help releases test and verify themselves before reaching users.

WHY IT MATTERS

AI is accelerating software development, but testing can become a bottleneck as teams release products faster. Treegress is working to make quality assurance more autonomous, scalable, and capable of keeping pace with modern development.

ABOUT THE VENTURE

“AI is making software development faster, but testing is becoming the bottleneck. Treegress is building toward a future where every software release can test and verify itself before it reaches users.”

THEIR CODELAUNCH EXPERIENCE

“CodeLaunch has been a very flexible and founder-friendly experience. The program gives us clear structure and direction, while still leaving enough room to adapt.”

AÊTAVA

Founder: Ali Goodarzi
Website: https://aetava.com/

WHAT THEY DO

aêtava is building an AI-native platform that connects the furniture-buying journey, from inventory and customer visualization to product selection and delivery.

WHY IT MATTERS

Furniture retailers often rely on disconnected systems throughout the customer journey. aêtava is designed to bring those steps together, helping retailers create a more connected experience from inspiration through fulfillment.

ABOUT THE VENTURE

“aêtava is rebuilding how furniture gets sold. We connect the entire journey, from what’s in stock to what customers imagine in their homes, what they choose, and what ultimately gets delivered, all in one AI-native platform.”

THEIR CODELAUNCH EXPERIENCE

“CodeLaunch has pushed us to sharpen how we explain aêtava, think more clearly about what matters technically, and focus on the parts of the product that can create the biggest impact. It’s been a useful process for turning a broad vision into a much tighter execution plan.”

THE ROAD AHEAD

For these six finalists, being selected is only the beginning.
Now, the next phase is where ideas meet execution as each startup prepares to work alongside an Improving Professional Coder League team ahead of the Canada Championship. That opportunity is supported by organizations across Canada’s startup and technology community, including Flo100, CodeLaunch Canada’s largest partner.
"Toronto is not short on programs for early-stage founders. What sets Code Launch apart is that it addresses capital, talent, and exposure in a single program, and does so at no cost to the companies it serves. In my experience across this ecosystem, few initiatives deliver that kind of value."
Simba Wakatama
CEO of Flo100

For founders who have already gone through the experience, the impact extends beyond making it to the championship stage.

Last year’s CodeLaunch Canada winner, Gharsa Amin, Founder of Kavodax, experienced firsthand how much can happen during that process.

“CodeLaunch is a launchpad where innovation meets execution from day one. The progress we made within CodeLaunch was unbelievably precious.”
Gharsa Amin
Founder of Kavodax

Each startup will work directly with its Improving Professional Coder League team to build, refine, and strengthen meaningful parts of its product before stepping onto the CodeLaunch Canada Championship stage on September 16 at El Mocambo in Toronto.

On championship night, the finalists will pitch their ventures, demonstrate what they built, and compete for the audience’s support through Launch Kings, CodeLaunch’s in-house voting platform powered by Improving.

After each round, audience members will use their $50,000 in LaunchBucks to invest in the startups they believe in, helping determine who advances through the competition.

Ultimately, the finalists are competing for the opportunity to represent Canada at the CodeLaunch 2026 World Championship in Dallas.

The road to the championship starts September 16 in Toronto.
